The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) required a comprehensive and visually engaging online Digital Annual Report for 2021/22. The finished project resulted in a highly polished and professional online experience that effectively communicated HKTB’s key achievements, recovery milestones, and strategic vision during a pivotal recovery year. It enhanced stakeholder and public engagement through intuitive navigation, stunning visuals, and accessible data presentation—reinforcing HKTB’s position as an innovative leader in global tourism promotion.
The creation of the report required synchronization with the concurrent development of the board’s main website to ensure a seamless, cohesive style and brand identity. As part of the website development team, crafting the digital report involved managing an extremely tight timeline while integrating an extensive volume of content—including high-quality photographic assets, detailed textual narratives, and complex data sets such as tourism statistics, visitor trends, performance metrics, and financial figures. These challenges were compounded by the need for pixel-perfect alignment with the evolving website design system, balancing rich visual storytelling with accurate, data-heavy reporting.
We designed and developed a fully interactive digital annual report platform, transforming traditional reporting into an immersive, user-centric online experience that harmonized perfectly with the refreshed HKTB website aesthetic.

Concept & Information Architecture
Led the creative and structural direction from initial concepting and wireframing to detailed information architecture. We organized extensive content into intuitive sections (e.g., chairman’s message, operational highlights, tourism performance data, financial overview, sustainability initiatives, and future strategy) for logical flow and engaging progression.
Content Management & Timeline Optimization
Efficiently handled the massive integration of photographic content, in-depth text, and complex datasets under a compressed schedule. We used responsive design principles to ensure flawless performance across devices and seamless synchronization with the evolving brand guidelines.
Deliverables & Format
Delivered a polished, web-hosted report (with a PDF export option), optimized for stakeholder sharing, public access via the HKTB site, and broad compatibility—serving as both a transparent accountability tool and a compelling showcase of the Board’s tourism revival narrative.
