Bayer HealthCare Limited needed an accessible eye healthcare platform specifically tailored for elderly users in Hong Kong. The resulting website successfully provides an approachable, educational resource that empowers elderly users and their families to better manage eye health. Through accessible design, trusted branding, and relatable storytelling, it effectively raises awareness, encourages preventive care, and strengthens the brand’s presence in senior healthcare education.
The challenge was to design a website that prioritizes readability and ease of use for seniors—featuring larger fonts and high-contrast colors—while delivering educational content on eye disease symptoms, real-life examples, and preventive measures. Additionally, the site had to incorporate an engaging storytelling section with Hong Kong actress Nancy Sit (薛家燕) as the brand ambassador to build trust and an emotional connection without overwhelming the audience.
A senior-friendly, responsive website was designed with a clean, trustworthy interface. The layout emphasizes accessibility through large default text, strong contrast, and simple navigation. A dedicated storytelling area highlights Nancy Sit’s personal eye health journey, making the content relatable and motivating users (and their families) to take proactive steps in eye care.
