Sun Hung Kai Credit Limited required a short, festive Chinese New Year greeting video to convey warm holiday wishes and maintain brand presence during the festive season. The resulting 10-second TVC successfully delivered a concise yet heartfelt greeting, infusing existing photo assets with vibrant festive energy to convey brand warmth and joy. It provided an engaging, quick-view experience that strengthened the seasonal connection with audiences while highlighting the brand in a positive, celebratory light.
The primary task was to create an engaging 10-second TVC using only existing character still photos from prior commercials. The challenge lay in infusing these static images with vibrant Chinese New Year elements to evoke celebration and joy, achieving a dynamic, heartfelt feel within a very limited timeframe and without shooting any new footage.
A concise 10-second motion graphics TVC was produced by animating traditional Chinese New Year elements—such as festive motifs, decorations, and lively effects—and overlaying them onto the existing character stills. This approach transformed static photos into a warm, celebratory narrative that delivered the brand’s festive message in a joyful and engaging manner, perfectly suited for quick-view holiday greetings.
